The Obsidiana Duo (Camila Montefusco & Yolanda Tapia) will be sharing a curated program of songs based on the folk music of Latin America, showcasing BIPOC and historically-excluded composers. This repertoire is tailored to share the exquisite folk music from our countries of origin, while promoting the diversity of the country we now reside in, Canada. Repertoire includes works by Ginastera, Montsalvatge, Braga, Forsyth, and Galindo. The event is free and unticketed.
